Originally from Victoria, BC, Chase Ward is a Toronto-based Musician and Composer. Currently finishing his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance, Ward has studied many genres and is well-versed in Jazz and Latin, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban music. Playing a mix of jazz standards and original compositions, Ward's live shows are sure to entertain. While primarily a drummer and percussionist, Chase Ward is just as proficient in multiple instruments including Piano, Bass, Guitar and Voice. His fluency as a multi-instrumentalist finds its way into his compositions and live shows.

In addition to his interest in Jazz, Ward’s range expands into genres such as RnB, Blues and Rock. His holistic approach to music is fueled by his unending curiosity and love of new styles of music. With his passion for live performance and his flexibility as a musician, Ward has always set out to sing with his soul, write from the heart and shoot from the hip.
